Some questions you may have…

What happened to Tradocs?

We are sure that many of you have been hearing about Cloud services and the benefits of anytime, anywhere access to data and services on the internet.
Keeping up with technology is increasingly important to business success and we're pleased to announce that the Tradocs service for CDS has now been fully adopted onto the enterprise edition of the Hauste EDI Cloud (www.edicloud.net). Being part of the Hauste group means you will soon have access to many more services and benefits from trading electronically with CDS.
The Tradocs brand has now been replaced completely with Hauste branding. The service is already support by Hauste, so all the support contact details remain unchanged.

Why is Hauste better then Tradocs?

This migration has been carefully planned to ensure minimum disruption to your day-to-day operations. Working on the Hauste EDI Cloud is exactly the same as using Tradocs - your login details are the same as now and all your documents & T-Stamps have been moved across already. In fact, you probably won't even notice the move - all URLs will be redirected automatically. The only thing you will notice is a new look portal coming online soon and the following improvements to the web application:
-It's faster: searching for and viewing documents is now even quicker.
-It's more convenient: you can now save your login details so you don't need to enter them each time.
-It's easier to use: we've removed the requirement for you to enter your password each time you send a document - making invoicing CDS even quicker and simpler to do.

Why am I being asked to use Hauste?

CDS made the decision that using the The Enterprise Edition of the Hauste EDI Cloud will make doing business with them even easier for you as a supplier. Through the Hauste EDI Cloud you will be able to access orders easily and instantly on-line. And with the Hauste support team keeping an eye on things, you'll never miss or lose an order again! Don't worry, it really is simple to get signed up and going. In fact, it's so easy to use, we've never even had to run a training course!

What is Hauste?

The Hauste Group is a company specialising in the management and processes associated with mission critical data. The Enterprise Edition Hauste EDI Cloud, which CDS uses with its suppliers, significantly transforms the way businesses manage EDI, blowing away the constraints of 'old EDI'. The Enterprise Edition Hauste EDI Cloud offers many benefits in addition to exchanging data, including business intelligence, advanced transaction management and data matching. This is all run and supported by a team who understand that technology should be a tool to doing business, not a distraction to it. The technology’s important of course, but its how you use it that counts.

How does using Hauste work?

You will receive an email alert when a new order has been sent to you. You then just need to login to your account to view and print the order. Then when you are ready to invoice CDS you simply click a few buttons to convert the order on Hauste into an invoice document. You just add your own invoice number and send it. You can adjust prices and quantities if you need to, but as all the data is populated for you, there should be no need for you to do this.

Remember, the Hauste team is here to support you all the way. Just drop us a line if you have any questions or problems at all.

What benefits are there for suppliers?

There are many benefits to suppliers when using the Hauste EDI Cloud. Here are some of the main ones:
-Instant receipt of the final, approved, purchase order
-All orders are backed up and stored on-line, and can be accessed anytime from anywhere
-Hauste can provide you with customised reports and file uploads, so you may even be able to remove the need to re-key CDS orders.

How much is it going to cost?

There are no costs for opening an account and receiving orders via Hauste. The support is free too!
Invoicing CDS simply works on a pay-as-you go basis. You load your account with invoice sending credits (T-Stamps) which get used as you send invoices.
